Ben Altidis is the Founder, Director and Senior Audiologist of Acute Hearing Solutions, a completely independent Audiology clinic with a commitment to the assessment and treatment of hearing and balance disorders. In 1997, Peter, along with fellow senior Audiologist Ben Altidis, established Advanced Hearing Solutions, an independent Audiology Clinic providing premier vestibular diagnostics, tinnitus management and hearing rehabilitation.
Ben graduated with a Bachelor in Science, followed by postgraduate studies in Audiology from the University of Melbourne. He is a member of Audiology Australia and accredited to provide hearing services to pensioners, Veteran Affairs as well as Work Cover clients.
Since graduating in 1990, he has gained experience working in Victorian public and private hospitals, with Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeons, primary and secondary schools, and in private practice.
Over the years, Ben has developed a strong passion for tinnitus assessment and therapy, as well retrochochlear and vestibular assessment and rehabilitation. He promotes a multidisciplinary and patient-centric approach to the assessment and treatment of tinnitus and balance disorders
Ben maintains his ongoing continuing professional development through regular attendance at conferences and courses as well by visiting specialised clinics and university departments interstate and in the U.S.A.
